Call for proposals

The LASERLAB-EUROPE institutions are funded under the current Transnational Access To Research Infrastructures Programme of the European Commission to provide access to researchers or research teams of Member States and Associated States. Within the cluster they offer state-of-the-art scientific laser equipment and research environments with a wide range of research opportunities, allowing for today's most advanced light-matter interaction experi-ments in broad regimes of power, wavelengths, or pulse durations. Access is provided free of charge; travel and living expenses are covered by the host institution.

Interested researchers are invited to contact the LASERLAB-EUROPE website at http://laserlab-europe.net, from where they find all relevant information about the participating facilities and local contact points. Access is granted on the basis of proposals, which will be reviewed by an external panel of referees. Details about the submission procedure may be found on the LASERLAB website. Applicants are encouraged to contact any of the facilities directly to obtain additional information and assistance in preparing a proposal.

LASERLAB-EUROPE strives to promote gender equality in scientific research and specifically encourages applications from women.

Proposals are accepted at any time and from any eligible researcher or research team. However, for the facilities at LULI ,CESTA, CLF, PALS and GSI/PHELIX specific deadlines have to be observed:
