JRA1: FOSCIL | JRA2: OTTER

Two major Joint Research Activities (JRA) will be pursued by the consortium which have been chosen to
push the forefront of laser research, raising the overall level of performances.
Both JRA can only be pursued through the combined efforts of several participating laboratories with specialised know-how;
together they will confirm and strengthen the leading role of European laser research in a world-wide context.

The JRA address the following topics:

• JRA 1: Frontiers of Optical Science: Controlling Intense Light (FOSCIL)
• JRA 2: Overcoming the Technology Barriers (OTTER)
