Meeting of the LASERLAB Committee of User Representatives on 6 July 2009, Max Born Institute, Berlin, Germany
The newly elected User Representatives met for the first time on 6 July 2009 at Max Born Institute, Berlin, Germany. Following the presentation and discussion of the planned project activities with emphasis on all Access and User-related issues, the User Representatives elected a chairperson and assigned members for cooperation in several Laserlab boards.
The User Representatives Committee will primarily be involved in organising the regular User meetings and the User training schools and it will help to define instruments for their implementation and supervision. It will also support the project partners in informing the European User community in all matters of Trans-national Access, e.g. through the Newsletter or other dissemination activities.
