LASERLAB-EUROPE Inauguration Ceremony
10 November 2003, Prague, Czech Republic
The Inauguration Ceremony was held at the Academy of Sciences in Prague, Czech Republic. Prof. Karel Jungwirth, Director of the Prague Asterix Laser Facility (PALS), hosted the event. The importance and European dimension of the project have been emphasized in addresses given by Dr. Petr MARES, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Research & Development Council, Dr. Petra BUZKOVA, Minister of Education, Prof. Helena ILLNEROVA, President of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, and Dr Daniel PASINI, European Commission.
