Saclay Laser-Matter Application Centre, CEA, Saclay, France

In 2002 the Saclay Laser-matter Interaction Center has been labelled "Major Research Infrastructure" by the European Community. SLIC offers transnational access to a complete line of state of the art ultrashort high-intensity lasers and diagnostics plus high-technology experimental set-ups for wide-ranging ultrafast photoscience, both on high-intensity laser-matter interaction and for femtosecond two-colour experiments.
